Stressed? Are you breathing? Let’s talk about it!
Wherever you are in the world, there’s a lot going on that can feel ever so stressful. A lot that feels out of our control. Global crises, political events, wars, natural disasters — there’s so much going on that can stir uncertainty, worry, and overwhelm.
And perhaps you’ve got personal stuff going on that’s feeling stressful: perhaps a health issue, perhaps money matters, perhaps relationship issues, perhaps concerns about a loved one? Or maybe something else.
Well, are you breathing?
I know, it sounds funny to ask, “Are you breathing?” Of course you are! But here’s the real question — are you breathing in the best possible way?

Most of us don’t think twice about our breath. It’s automatic, like the background music of our lives. But how you breathe can make a massive difference — it can affect your energy, mood, digestion, sleep, and even your physical health.
If you’re feeling stressed, tired, or just a bit off, the answer is to check in with how you’re breathing.
The simplest, quickest way to shift that stress is to BREATHE. And specifically, to belly breathe.

Belly, or diaphragmatic breathing, is the most powerful self-help tool we have to instantaneously change how we’re feeling. It can bring us to a place of inner peace, mentally and emotionally, and to bodily relaxation.
And that place of inner peace and bodily relaxation is also where we need to be to digest our food, to sleep, and to heal, if we’ve got a physical issue going on.
It’s all literally a stop, a pause, and a belly breath away!
I put together a short, 5” video for you, showing how to breathe in a way that best supports your mind and body. I explain the science of belly, or diaphragmatic breathing, and I demonstrate just how to do it. You can check it out here.
