Dr. Trish and Benjamin, in another one of their informal, unscripted and spontaneous videos, remind you of the POWER OF PRESENCE – how BEING HERE NOW shifts whatever’s going on.
And she offers a simple and short guided breathing experience to experience just that.
Unscripted and spontaneous, Dr. Trish and Benjamin come to you from a hill in Central Park near the Lake, aka Venice in New York, and just a little way from the sailboat pond. It’s a rather mild December day.
Dr. Trish offers up one of her favorite topics: consciousness. And she muses “Just what if?….”
Just what if consciousness didn’t start at birth and end at death. What if consciousness is non-local, meaning it doesn’t reside in our bodies, or anywhere in us, for that matter.
What if an essential aspect of us remains when we die, when we leave our bodies. And what if an essential aspect of ourselves precedes our physical birth?
Crazy ideas to wrap our minds around? Such stuff as dreams are made on?
Well, as Dr. Trish explains, these notions have been fundamental to the ancient wisdom traditions, and now, modern science is beginning to chime in.
There’s a vast body of excellent scientific research supporting the veracity of all of these musings.
Dr. Trish closes with an offering: how might we live better, even die better, if we could wrap our minds around these ideas?
How might we find freedom from the fear of illness that is rampant nowadays, and the fear of dying and death? And that very fear can even make us ill and hasten our passing.
We would live better, we would die better, and we probably even be more likely to return to our bodies that depart, when faced with illness.
Freedom from fear. It’s a potent medicine for liberation from suffering, and even the best medicine for healing.
Dr. Trish and Benjamin meet with their friend Jose, who offers his wonderful words of wisdom on what we need to live in peace today, and to be well.
May it inspire you to take a little time to be a little more childlike, to play, to conjure up some moments of joy. And see what happens!
Dr. Trish and Benjamin visit with you in this informal, spontaneous and unscripted video, sharing some inspiring words of wisdom from their friend Jose.
On the power of play and imagination.
Make a snow angel and feel the feelings of joy and light. If you can’t make one, then do it in your imagination And feel the feelings of joy and light.
It changes your brain chemistry. It can even heal you. And transform your life. No kidding.
Dr. Trish and Mr. Benjamin visit with you from their usual perch in Central Park’s Ramble, by the lake.
Today it’s just a brief visit – a reminder that BEING HERE NOW, cultivating our experience of the present moment – is ALL that we need to heal ourselves and to transform our lives.
And healing isn’t just about fixing the physical body. In fact, far from it.
But, if we are to heal the physical body, the only way such healing can happen is by cultivating the POWER OF THE PRESENT MOMENT.
Check our Dr. Trish’s “CHANGE YOUR MIND. HEAL YOUR BODY. TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE” video for more details on the how’s and why’s of it all. Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/2nUtFQf
Today’s video ends with a gentle reminder to stop, to pause, and to breathe.
Gentle, slow, ABDOMINAL BREATHING is the fastest, simplest way to experience the POWER OF THE PRESENT MOMENT.
Dr. Trish muses on health, and offers a novel way to think about it.
It’s way to think about health that can only bring about health, no matter what’s going on. She explains the science of it all.
And she offers yet another of her simple and effortless guided breathing techniques to get a little sense of it all.
Dr. Trish and Benjamin visit with you from their perch in the Ramble, by the Central Park Lake.
This time, the topic is GRATITUDE. And it’s power to heal, it’s power to transform our lives.
Dr. Trish shares the science behind it all, too – gratitude literally, changes our brain,, our physiology, our biochemistry, our brain chemistry, our brain anatomy.
You’ll have some glimpses of the Ramble, and some inspired thoughts for stopping to pause, and reflect on what you’re grateful for.
Even if you’re suffering, even if things feel unmanageable, a little dose of gratitude can shift things.
Give it a try, and see what happens!
And as always, your feedback, questions and comments are always welcome!
Dr. Trish and Benjamin visit with you from Benjamin’s favorite perch in Central Park, on a crisp and sunny December morning. You’ll have glimpses of their view of the Lake from the Ramble, also known as Venice in New York.
Take a peek and listen in, while Dr. Trish offers up the ancient wisdom, now supported by much good modern science, on the power of our minds.
She explains how our thoughts are either supporting our well-being or supporting “dis”-ease. What we think and feel affects us, and instantaneously so. Our thoughts and feelings affect our physical bodies, and instantaneously so. Our thoughts and our feelings affect all aspects of our lives, and instantaneously so.
And if we’re suffering in any way, with health issues, with challenges in any area of our lives – relationships, work, life path – we can find liberation by changing our minds. By shifting thoughts and feelings. And we can shift thoughts and feelings in an instant.
The path to Absolute Health, to peace of mind, and to healing all that ails us, health-wise and even otherwise, lies in the very moment.
Dr. Trish explains the how’s and the why’s of it all, and treats you to a simple guided breathing technique to experience just that – the power of the present moment to change your mind, to heal your body, to transform your life.
It’s simply a stop, a pause, and a breath away.
